| In their spare time Deerfield faculty member Robin Lempicki and her husband Gerald fly their own plane and also enjoy
radio-operated model planes. The one pictured is a GWS Slowstick with an upgraded motor to be able to haul the additional
weight of the camera. The main radio-controlled camera is a Casio 7 megapixel and the alternate camera is a small Aiptek pencam. Both camera mounts
are custom fabricated.
On a beautiful fall day in October 2007, the model flew over campus and took the aerial film you can see below. |
